All aboard for the Santa’s Workshop Christmas Crochet Along (CAL) from Sirdar! the Santa's Workshop Crochet Along is a six-week festive crochet blanket project to celebrate the season.
Our beginner-friendly crochet along starts with simple stitches and gradually introduces more advanced crochet techniques. Whether you’re new to crochet or an experienced maker, you’ll love creating a Christmas blanket that will become part of your family traditions for years to come.

Which Crochet Hook Should You Use?
We recommend using a 4mm crochet hook (USA F/5) We don't include a hook in your pack because you might already have your own favourite. If not, or you’d like to treat yourself to a new one, we recommend a Sirdar soft-handled crochet hook, which is especially good for beginners, or hand-painted bamboo crochet hook.
When Does the Crochet Along Start?
The Christmas Crochet Along begins on 8th October. Each week you’ll find links to free crochet patterns and video tutorials to guide you step by step: here
Your finished crochet Christmas blanket will measure approx 120cm x 135cm (47in x 53in)
