Returns and Refunds Policy
At Scout & Skein, we prioritize customer satisfaction while maintaining the integrity of our products. This return and refund policy outlines the conditions under which returns may be accepted and the options available to customers.
Returns are permitted only for unused and unopened skeins of yarn. This policy is in place to ensure that all customers receive products that are in pristine condition. Yarn that has been opened or used cannot be returned, as it compromises the quality and usability of the product for future customers. Additionally, we cannot accept returns that are damaged in any way. If the customer claims the damage occurred during shipping of the item, please contact info@scoutandskein.com.
In the event that a return is approved, customers will receive store credit for the value of the returned item. This store credit can be utilized for future purchases within our store. It is important to note that cash refunds are not available at this time.
To initiate a return, customers must contact our customer service team at info@scoutandskein.com within 30 days of the purchase date to be eligible for a return. The item must be in its original packaging and condition for approval. We ask for a proof of purchase to be eligible for a return.
Once approved, the customer will need to bear the cost of shipping the item to our address.
Specialty items such as holiday kits, seasonal notions, gift cards, design service appointments, or other downloadable materials are not eligible for a refund.
