December 19 & January 9: Fair Isle Bookmark Workshop
Couldn't load pickup availability
Learn two classic skills in one small project — knit a bookmark from a traditional Fair Isle chart, carrying two colors as you go, then reinforce and cut a steek to open your tube of knitting into a flat piece. A bookmark is the perfect low-stakes place to try steeking for the first time, and you'll leave with a finished piece and a technique you can carry into sweaters and larger colorwork projects. Suited to knitters comfortable with basic knit and purl; no prior colorwork or steeking experience needed.
December 19th: 3-5 P: Learn about Fair Isle Knitting, reading a colorwork chart, two-stranded knitting, choosing colors and start working your project in the round. Yarn will be provided.
January 9 3- 5 P: bring your completed work in the round and ready to Steek and Finish Your Bookmark.
Must attend the first class to attend the second class. We require one weeks notice to cancel for a full refund.
