Naughty Needles: Adult-themed Craft Kits

Naughty Needles, a special collaboration between Scout & Skein and Terri Michele Fiber Arts, invites you to celebrate your naughty side and make something spicy for your wardrobe or wall.  We will be hosting a series of meetups throughout the year with special Naughty Needles kits that can be made at our events. 

Can't make an event? Not a problem! All our kits have everything you need to get started - well, except maybe knit/crochet needles, which can be purchased here! 

Please make sure to add on the free pattern if you would like a printout for the meetup! If you can use a digital copy - that's amazing! 

Kit Descriptions:

Crochet Egg Pastie Kit - 2 hrs 

Kit includes enough yarn for two pasties, a cloth backing, and chenille needle. Optional add on: Tassles with a bead! 

Yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash 100% Merino Wool.  Upcycled 100% cotton cloth for affixing to back of the pastie for optimal comfort. 

Methods we will cover: Making a Magic Loop! (great for granny square or working in the round)

Recommended Needles: Hook Size E (3.5 mm)

Free Ravelry Pattern: Two Fried Eggs Pasties by Ursula Glitch 

Techniques Used: Magic Ring, SC, DC, Slip Stitch

Knit Dirty Martini Olive Pasties Kit - 2 hrs

Kit includes a free pattern, enough yarn for two pasties, a cloth backing, cotton perle thread and a chenille needle. Optional add ons: Tassels with a bead; Free pattern print out available upon request at check out!

Methods we will cover: Using DPNs to work in the round. I-Cord Finishing. Bring your own or buy here!

Beginner Bralette Embroidery & Lace Applique Kit

Create a cute embroidered bralette using threads, needle and your own upcycled undies! Purchase the basic kit and pattern and embellish your bralette with lacey applique details.

Techniques Used: 

• Stem stitch for outline
• Seed stitch for applique
• Room for you to add your favorite stitch

Kit includes: Cotton & Metallic embroidery thread, Needles, Embroidery Hoop, and Backing. Free Pattern with Purchase.
